hi,

i want to use backburner to render with softimage.
i have wrote a script for backburner and its working fine.
but i want to render in chunks, so that xsibatch wont start everytime a single frame is rendered.
can someone give me a hint how to realize chunk rendering with backburner and xsi?

here is my script as bat-file:

@echo off

set jobname=rendertest
set path="F:\Softimage\XSI_6.5\Data\XSI_SAMPLES\Scenes\Rendertest.scn"
set startframe=0
set endframe=100
set /a frame_no=(n;dframe%-&#xst;artframe%)+1

set /a chunks=5
set /a tasknum=((r;ame_no%-1)/h;unks%)+1

@echo on
“F:\Programme\Autodesk\Backburner\cmdjob.exe” -jobname:XSI_&#xjo;bname% -jobNameAdjust -tp_start:&#xst;artframe% -numTasks:&#xta;sknum% -taskname:1 “F:\Softimage\XSI_6.5\Application\bin\XSIBatch.bat” -r -scene &#xpa;th% -startframe %&#xtp;1 -endframe %&#xtp;1
