I have problem with my Student version of Softimage 2011 32-bit. If i choose object
Get-> primitive-> polygon mesh
and if i try to change its subdivisions or size there is happening something very strange. Object doesnt look like it should.(Sphere example in attachments)
But when I render it looks normally. I have tried different versions of 32-bit Softimage (2010,2011, 7.5) and different operating systems on my notebook( Windows XP, Windows 7) and there is always the same problem.

Maybe someone had similiar problem to this and is able to help me, because everybody I asked said that they saw something like this for the first time.
I’m helpless, because I cant do my project on academy with my softimage.

PS. Sorry for my English but it’s not my native language.

Check the antialiasing setting for your graphic card. It should be set to Application-controlled.

Update: It could be this: TS14040325
