Hi I have done something in a few scenes that I would very much like to undo: I have somehow disabled translating through both my scene camera and the user view. In other words if I select something and then press “v” the transform manipulator comes up, but I can’t use it in the effected view. If I use it in one of the other views it does work.

Scale and rotation do both work in the affected views though.

Has anyone else come across this? Is there any way to fix it?

Rename your User folder and restart Softimage. If the problem no longer occurs, then it was related to the preferences. If the problem persists, then you can put back your original User folder and restore those preferences.

Merge one of the problem scenes into a new scene. Does the problem still happen?
