Here’s a regular point grid with the Point locations visible… Please look at the z values at the far right of the grid… What’s going on there? What are they dropping 1 unit, although they’re on the same row along z axis?

I gave it a quick try and did not repro the problem.

Just curious, why are you using the ID to Location instead of just Get Point Position, on a point grid they give me the same thing.

Hi Stephen;

I found out that the problem occurs when I change the resolution of the grid. The point positions don’t update accordingly. It corrects itself once the file is closed and reopened in SI 2010. As for the point positions from IDs thingy, yes you’re right, of course. That was a bit unnecessary :) But nevertheless, even with that one, the point positions fail to update when the grid resolution is edited.
