Hello. I have a simple spawn firework which generates a lot of particles. Iam getting a low memory usage using point as shape, but when i want to use spheres memory usage became unreal high. Which best way to render a lot of particles in ice with mr? maybe I need some special nodes or something like that
thanks

are you running on 64bit?  I found that this made a huge difference.

Try to add Cache On File node in Ice tree… )

P.S.You can use Plot>Write/Load Geometry Cache also.

grifgont, cache file кеширует просто симуляцию, симуляцию просчитать не проблема, проблема сферами отрендрить.  Попробую

You`re not right really. On the General Controls tab in the Cache on File property editor, you can specify which attributes you want to write into the cache file. For Example you can check Shape attribute…
