i want to make a trebucet

i just want to make one for fun not a detailed animation.

i was playing with the sample one but i dont know how to change the person to a other object (like a sphere or what ever other things i want to make). and maybe make it a game where the weight is changeable and i can try to hit a wall (i mean not a actual game but set it up so changing objects and the trebucet weight is easy)
