Alright, I’m going to hit someone with a ICE compound, I want to know if an ICE tree can be created that just with UV applied to the object on (for example) a metal object all the corners and edges of the object have a worn out paint look applied to those edges\corners automaticlly ? And you can adjust the look of the worn out paint look via the render tree.

You can try to create that in the render tree. A mixer node with Ambient occlusion driving the weight...That can be saved out as a shader compound

just a quess

Oh, right I could do it that way.  Thank you.

ICE would make it much faster by using the technique Helge Mathee uses to fake ambient occlusion in real time

Just use the occlusion values to drive an alpha channel in your rendertree

It is not bad, but not fully what I’m after.  I suppose the AO map on a mix node would have to do.
