Hi, I’m facing a very annoying problem. Every single time I cache strands using the cache on file node, I can’t read the end product of the cache in a scene that contains any object named like the original emitter (unless the object is of a different type, nurbs vs mesh for example) without a fatal error occuring.
This is very troublesome because it implicates the impossibility of caching and reading back the cache in the same scene, or even in a scene with the same asset.
Has anybody else experienced this? Any way to fix it apart from renaming?
