Does a better option for creating Text with bevel or chamfered edges exist in Softimage? Once you have type that has very pointy corners or ends, its hard to get a nice bevel on it without doing a tone of work, and lets say you have a bunch of titles to do fast. Custom shaping of chamfered edges would be out of the question. Any thoughts, opinions, or suggestions?

If you are using the options in the Curve to Mesh Converter operator to control the bevel (as opposed to applying a separate Bevel operator), you can use the Corner Mitering options to control this. Look for “Mitering and Rounding” on this page: http://softimage.wiki.softimage.com/xsidocs/polys_ConvertingCurvestoPolygonMeshes.htm
