Hi Guys,

is there any plugin that allows you to take Hard Edge information across to Max?  I have to use Max at work and it would be nice to use Hard Edges in XSI as i do all my modelling and UV’s in XSI!

Does anyone knows of any plugins or useful tips for doing this?

Ben

Do someone have any solution for the mentioned problem?
It is horror to export SI data to max. Whatever format you are using, there are bugs. In .xsi all materials works well, but the smoothing groups are missed. In collada SI don’t writes more than one uv chanell… And in fbx all objects must have the same name like the material, elsewise the materials are missed or wrong named.

There is no really good solution. Not good for a team that works with different apps.

What we need from SI to 3ds Max:
- smoothing groups
- Material Names

Regards
Chris
