I’m using Mod Tool 4.2, downloaded from download.com (because the download site on softimage.com is down).

Basically, i have 4 reshaped primitives. When I rotate it 90 degrees along the x axis, each one rotates independently of each other. What I want is for them to be “joined”, or just to act as one model. Is there a way I can do this, or will I have to take one primitive and just add verticies and edges as i need them?

Thanks for your help,
~Kaito

try to use transform tool in global mode, or:

another way is to use COG, so you modifier tool will be positioned in center of selected geometry

hmm, you could use Merge Tool, to create one mesh from multiple different meshes, if you have that tool in Mod Tool and then manipulate it as one mesh

another way is to group objects, and then when by rotating you rotate whole group

another way is to use Transform -> Automark Active Transform Axes, or if you dont have that tool, do it manually, make a NULL object, make him parent for objects you want to manipulate, and then by manipulating that NULL, you’ll manipulate children as well
