Hi (sorry for my bad english). Not exactly “sculpting” tools but you can use paint tools with weight map (you can find more info in the XSI Help and any tutorials about these techniques on the web) and the “tweak” tool capabilities are very useful and efficient in that way: push the “prop” button on MCP toolbar (on the right side), press “m” on keyboard and you can obtain something like “Grab Tool” (Mudbox) and “Move Brush” (ZBrush), tweaking a many subdivided-polygons mesh (press “r” and clic+drag to decrease|increase the brush size). Hope they will be useful.
PS: there is the “3D Tutorial - Extreme Character Creation” by M.Ucci which is very useful about modeling techniques.

Unless I’m wrong but that tutorial is no longer available, not even from RediVirus as it was a 3DTutorials, Tutorial and RediVirus has thrown all of those tutorials out, forever !

Select polys and use Deform>relax,Smooth
You may want to use FreezeM after to loose the operator.
