How do you set the pivot to face the normals of the geometry that you are working on in local mode?  Yes I know about the “Reference Plane” mode but I want to be able to straighten the axes in a 90 degree fashion according to the geometry’s face normal.  Is there a way to interactively rotate the pivot so that it faces in the direction I want it to be in?  Do you have script this in order to make it work?  Thanks.

As far as I know the interactive/temp pivot offset can only be translated.
If you want a rotational offset as well then reference mode on a component still stands as the only choice, short of writing a small script to offset the actual kine property’s pivot yourself that is.
