Hi, is it possible to do post process effects in xsi 6.02? screen blurs, glows etc..
im new to creating realtime shaders but im guessing you need to be able to get the contents of the viewport rendered to a texture for these kind of effects?
hope im not being too dense any help would be appreciated :biggrin:

hi, so im guessing nobody knows if this is possible?
I have thought about buying the digital tutors dvd on using shaders in xsi and xna, has anybody got this dvd and does it show post process effects in xsi?
If anyone can help or point me in the right direction that would be great :biggrin:

you probably are going to need to make a display callback to do this.

Thanks for the reply, so looking in the sdk guide it seems i would have to code a plug-in for this? i will have to look into this, but to be honest its a bit beyond me at the moment :)
can anyone recomend any good training material for coding plug-ins for XSI 6.02 preferably in c#?
