Additive shader for particles

Hi,

Is there any shader for ice particles that can shade particles in additive mode so that areas where particle density is high are shaded brighter.

Personaly I have not found a way to do that apart from putting a very small opacity witch mimics the “burn look”
Appart from that a solution exist with emRenderPointCloud who did exactly what you want
