I have a camera that goes though glass, and you notice the transition when the camera goes though the glass.  I would like to remove that flick as the camera, goes though the glass.  I’ve tried transparency gradient maps (which I’m going to try again), I’ve also tried duplicating the geometry and cutting a hole out of where the camera will go though, both options have shown negative results. I’ve also though about doing this in post, but can’t think of any method that will work.

Do it in post, just fade out the glass layer in the comp just before the camera goes through.

It’s mostly done like this, and there’s no ‘weird’ camera-in-the-glass effect.

Thank you for the tip.  What I worry about is I have objects within the glass, the glass is refracting the objects within the glass.  I suppose I could fade it quick, otherwise I’ll fade everything :)
