I am sure this has been asked many times, in many venues, but my searches have yielded nothing.

Has anyone crafted a tutorial or would be willing to pass on tips on how to create materials that mimic the style seen in Appleseed Ex?  I know 3D World did an article about this a spell back, but I’ve been unable to dig that up from either my stock or online.  It was tailored to LW, but I know XSI’s shader system has greater flexibility and I believe was the primary renderer for characters in the film as it were.

Really appreciate any mentoring or perhaps just a nudge in the right direction.

Thanks!
