Has anyone gotten the lume submerge Shader to work in XSI 7? I have tried every variation on the parameters that I can think of and I get no fade over distance. all of the other shader in the creating and Ocean tutorial seem to work just not the Submerge shader Wich is actually the one I need most

Hi,

It seems a upgraded MR (in XSI 7) broke yet another Lume tool. The other one was the Facade shader, one that would still be quite useful.

Maybe you could try one of the other volume shaders available??

Hi,

It seems I spoke too quickly. After a post on XSIBase I rechecked the scenes, and after a reinstall of the addon it worked. So apparently the shader does still work.

Sorry for any confusion. If you need a scene file just PM me and i’ll see what I can do.

Use the one for XSI 5, version 1.3.
That one does work.

I’ve tried downloading LumeTools 1.3 off the authors web site and when I try to extract it, it’s corrupt. Anyone have any links where the file is not corrupt ?
