Hi Everybody
I am very new to XSI. Trying to create a road scene with large amount of trees using opacity maps on grids but unable to find where to put the opacity map. if i do this to refraction port then it is quiet time consuming and with limited ray depth if m not wrong.
Any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated

use the sprite shader. it handles many levels of transparency without the ray tracing overhead
