I’d have an existing scene with a lighting rig and camera setup I like whith one animated character in it. I want to strip out the character, biped base and rig leaving just the lights an camera so I can point-oven import a new (Lightwave) character and animate that one. But while I can delete the original mesh an control items off the rig, there are various rig based items I just can’t seem to shift. How would I do this, or alternately import my lights setup and camera into a new scene?

cheers,
simesf

An easy way to do this might be to take all of your lighting elements and make a model out of them. Export that as an .emdl. Now you can import your light rig into any XSI scene.

Well that bit of advice certainly helped me to move forward. Thanks Ed!
