no framebuffers output with backface culling

Hi,

as I turn on backface culling in Architectural material and take camera “behind the culled wall” framebuffers render all solid black. This does not make sense, is it really supposed to work this way? What would be the way around it? Something else than breaking up all the objects by hand?
