I was wondering is there some easy way to render part of frame? Example render something inside rectangual box and everything else in frame is clipped out.

In the Pass > Output render options, there is Pass Crop Window.
You can use the render region to set the Pass crop (in the Render Region options, click the Set Pass Crop from Region button).

Is Set Pass Crop from Region working properly?

Say, I have a camera that will shot the final animation. In the camera view, I set the Render Region, but then in final render output a completely different region is rendered.

I tried to play with this, and selected different viewports, but still a different region is rendered in the final output render.

I use Softimage 2011 64-bit.

Thanks. Best regards.
