XSI will substitute dots with underscores. Is there workaround to retain dots in the scene token?
It is because XSI cant use dots in names. Only exception is like separator of Model hierarchy.
[Scene] token seems to read this ActiveProject.ActiveScene.Name

You cannot have a period (.) in the name of any object in Softimage.
You could save the scene and use a name with a period in it, for example “My.Scene”.
Then use the token [Value Scene.UserSceneName].
