I’ve saved out a character’s materials to a material library, and used it to replace the materials of this same character in other scenes that had already been animated. Thought I could use a Referenced Library so that I can make easy updates to all the scenes by re-saving out the library with any changes, but here’s where I run into trouble…
Whenever I close XSI and open the animated scenes again, all the objects that had materials assigned from that referenced library are now using just one material, rather than the ones that were assigned to them.
