Hi everyone,
I have this weird coloreffect on the cargeometry..between blue and purple...I attached the red variation.  I try to describe the scene so maybe anyone can help...4 standard xsi aerealights with GI for the room, and some xsi lights for the cargeometry...GI FG settings have highqualitysettings, to solve the problem I already tried pushing up the photoncount, rebuild photonmap on and off, Fg settings, checked the materials( mia and carpaint), checked the textures(all gamma 1)..no hidden Fgplates or lights ..puh whats left...? I tried renders with and without FG, GI, sometimes the color is on the right side of the car, without changing something
the red barrier tape around the car is not the problem, all the same even if I delete it..would be nice if anyone has a solution..thanks ciao juergen

Hi everyone,
I tweaked the GI and FG settings a little bit, and even
2,5 mio photons per light was not enough in this scene,
also I pushed the fg rays to 500, the effect is not completely gone,
but as you can see the spots are much smaller now...and on the other side,
near the frontlights and at the corner at the foglights..
hmmm maybe a mental ray guru can answer this…

thanks for looking..ciao juergen

is the ambiant color on something too high?
check everything that’s red.

i think red and black spots are attributed to color correction nodes and the mix8 shader.

there is a thread on the base on this [black spots] but it might help.

rendring a seperate pass for the front grill object where the spots are may be a better solution.

thanks for the help, but I think I found the problem..
I connected the frontlightindicator texture in the transparency
port of the miaglas thin ...after removing this its gone...I don´t
know why...but okay...yes right I think I need some passes to
get a nice result...btw indoor lightrenders are not my strength....
tweaking the GI settings.is quite timeconsuming...I´ll try the
physical sun..ciao j
