Hello,

I don’t know how make this in Softimage 2010. We have an external worker in my company which he needs to take the softimage’s license to work. The license would be installed in my pc and he would take this license via online. So, I wanna know how to get this license to work in this way and what kind of license I would need. I read about server license and network license but I don’t know how it works.

Thanks for the answer.

Linux licenses are always Network licenses.

Network licenses support borrowing. To borrow a license, you have to connect to the license server. Then, in Softimage, you click Help - About Softimage - Product License Information - Borrow License.

After you borrow the license, you can disconnect from the network and still run Softimage.
