Hi everyone,

I tried to install Softimage 2011 on Linux 64 Ubuntu after failing to install Maya.
The user guide asks you to install the network manager first and directs you to the name of
the rpm files that you need to install. Where are these files? What I get is a .exe file only (that will not execute because of missing End-Of-Central-Directory signature.

A Linux download would be a .tar.gz file.

Are you downloading from students.autodesk.com ?

Hi Stephen.

Yes I am downloading form the students.autodesk
I just noticed that the link for 64 bit Softimage only reveals a Windows .exe file and not a Linux executable. Must notify Autodesk.

Take care
