Like the topic says, I’m trying to get my activation code for XSI Essentials 6.5. In addition to the request code generated with the dongle, I need a purchase order #. What is this and where can I find it?

Thank you.

You should of received some sort of order number, no matter where you purchased XSI.
Maybe they called it something different.

But if you don’t have it, don’t wait, go ahead and submit your license request.

Yea I sent the license request without the order # but I received an email from the license service that I should fill in the purchase order #. I asked what it is and they asked me where I got the software. For the 4th time now we’re waiting for a reply from the licensing service that answers 1 email/day. Now we’ve been waiting for a week to get a software activated. Seriously, activating a software shouldn’t be this time consuming :/

Have you followed the instruction presented in the Softimage WIKI?

I’ve just been through the exact same problem :D

Your copy of XSI 6.5 should have come with a sheet of paper labelled “Delivery Note”. On that “Delivery Note” there should be something called “Customer PO number”. I believe that’s the purchase order number. Well at least that’s what I sent off to licensing support and I got my license from them shortly afterwards.
