I travel a lot and would like to be able to install 7 on my notebook in addition to my desktop.  Is this authorized or do I have to disable the license on my desktop while I travel?

Modo, Max and Maya all offer the flexibility of two installations for this scenario.

You have to deactivate on the desktop.

Since the license are floating and not node locked to a specific computer we do not duplicate them.

With SLP you can deactivate and re-assign your licenses if you need to move them to another system. If you are licensed with a dongle you can travel with the dongle.

Here is more information about deactivating licenses
