Just checking to see if I’m doing anything wrong, but when I run a simple simulation, sometimes when I go to cancel it it only seems to cancel that frames calculations. Right now the only thing I can think to do is hold down the enter key until it reaches the last frame of the simulation.

Has anyone else experienced this or can they reproduce this “error/bug”? Or am I just missing something (besides the normal portions of my brain that are absent)? I’ve tried searching, but so far it seems no one else is having this problem.

XSI 7 64bit, Windows Vista

Thanks,
Gideon

Is that the only only simulated object in the scene?
You don’t have other rb or particle sims ‘live’ in there as well?!
If you can repro with a single rb object in the scene you might wanna run it
by Softimage support.

No, most of them have been simple tests with some duplicated objects and one collision object. Maybe I did something wrong though and added duplicates after I put the simulation on them? So each one is running on its own instead of together- hence canceling them? Still why frame by frame?

I’ll see if I can reproduce it and if I can, give the scene up to softimage support…
