Hi all,

Is it possible to convert fluids to polygons so that the mesh could be exported out of XSI? I looked in the manual but couldn’t find anything about this.

Thanks,
Sue

This is probably your best bet… http://www.xsibase.com/forum/index.php?board=29;action=display;threadid=29365

Dunno if it will work, but worth a try.

Okay, I tried it and it works great with displacement maps and instanced particles, but unfortunately not with fluids. Thanks for the link though, the add-on will be useful in those other cases.

This may have a better chance of working for you and that other addon.
Its a mesh wrapper for particles. You can probably acheive a nicer blending than your fluids as well.
