ive got a problem with the syflex toolbar. Everytime i activate the syflex toolbar it just disappear down the screen and i just cant access it. I think my laptop screen is far too small 15” to reach it. I was wondering if there was a workaround to it in order to access the syflex toolbar. Tanx in advance.

Edit the Syflex toolbar file C:\Softimage\Softimage_2010_x64\Addons\Syflex30X50\Application\toolbars\Syflex.xsitb

Change the default size to something like this:

defaultsize="1,130,104,330"

You’ll need to restart Softimage for the new defaultsize setting to be applied.

Open Notepad.

Click File > Open and locate the Syflex.xsitb file.

It is in the Addons\Syflex30X50\Application\toolbars folder of your Softimage installation.

For example, if you have the 64-bit version of 2010 SP1, then open this file:

C:\Softimage\Softimage_2010_SP1_x64\Addons\Syflex30X50\Application\toolbars\Syflex.xsitb

On line 8 of the file, find the defaultsize setting.
You need to change it as I described, and then save the file.

Thx

Tanx for great support. I have posted a question at the xsi base forum. It was regarding the facerobot toolbar and if i could use the same workaround as syflex toolbar to enlarge it. Tanx in advance.

The FaceRobot panel is more complex than a toolbar. I don’t think you can fix it the same way.
