When importing a reference model the materials in the model is inserted into a seperate locked material library. Converting the model to a local model the materials are moved to a new normal material library, but 2 locked material libraries are left in the scene.

Does anyone know how to get rid of those? They cannot be deleted and when I try to I get the message that they have been locked by the system and cannot be unlocked.

This is really annoying if you do alot of work back and forth with reference models because the material-manager will soon fill up with empty/locked material libraries..

any suggestion?

When you convertet the ref model to a local model and save the scene

then the locked ref mat libs schould be gone the next time u open that scene.

Not so nice when u do alot back and forth but i always did this once befor the scene is “ready to render”

save the scene with the models local open it up so the mat libs are clean then convert them to refmodels (if u still need them)
