am considering upgrade to 5.7 from 5.6.2

...is the extra $190 CDN worth it. There are some bugs i hope have been fixed and if anyone knows what fixes have been made can you link me to list. Thanks folks.

I have been using 5.7 since the upgrade was available but still find it frustrating at times. My needs are very basic as I only do landscape panoramas for printing. A few days ago something changed and the software no longer blends correctly. There is a visible area where the pictures overlap. My workflow has not changed, same lens same settings.

In frustration I tried photomerge in Photoshop CS4. Absolutely brilliant. Only problem is that I run out of memory (3+GB total available in XP) but shutting down all non essentials just provide sufficient room to complete the task. Will be upgrading to Win 7 64 + 8GB later this year so that will sort the problem.

I guess a lot depends on your requirements but from my point of view it is not worth it.
