I have applied Stitcher to a simple test of images acquired with Gigapan hardware, an image of pictures on a wall. The results is awful, with offsets in the picture frames! PTgui stitches these images without problem.

I have been a user of Stitcher since day one. It was outstanding. But ever since Realviz sold Stitcher to Autodesk, it has been down hill. There is no longer any support to fix problems and bugs.
