From the lagoon of Liquidspaceman…
First of all I love using Stitcher. But I’m having a problem with setting the transparency for the drop shadow. Let me explain. I took the panorama and converted it into a “Victorian Garden Ball,” in Paintshop Photo Pro, using the Polar filter, and added a drop shadow. When I use the “Victorian Garden Ball” for the nadir lens cap, Stitcher turns the semitransparent drop shadow into a solid black band. I saved the “Victorian Garden Ball” as a png and when I layer it onto a JPEG, in Paintshop Photo Pro, it works. But it doesn’t work in Stitcher. What gives? Does it make a difference whether I have the background transparent as opposed to using an Alpha Channel?
Please help, as I’m trying to finish this project up for a client.
...Liquidspaceman, over and out!
