Hi guys,
I’ve looked everywhere for a solution to this problem and haven’t had any luck. I have a website that has Virtual Tours (QTVR) which seem to play fine on all computers EXCEPT 64-bit systems (this includes Windows Vista x64 and Windows 7 x64).
Have any of you encountered this problem?
Have any of you found a solution?
Or should I just give up & switch all the virtual tours to flash? As far as I know, Autodesk doesn’t compile virtual tours to a Adobe Flash format, am I correct?
Thanks for any information you can provide.

there are some issues w/ quicktime & 64 bit windows, im a mac user and don’t remember the details, search google for “qtvr windows 64 bit problem”
apple itself has dropped QTVR support tin the latest quicktime for snow leopard, so moving to a flash panoramic output would be a good idea - stitcher supports flash panoramas in pure player format, but pure player is pretty archaic itself, try pano2VR for an easy way to convert qtvr mov files to flash, or flash panorama player which seems to be considered the highest quality flash player at the moment

Sam,
Thanks for your quick reply and the info. You basically confirmed what I’ve been reading so far, I was hoping there was a way to play the QTVRs with what we’ve already purchased, but it seems that QTVR technology is becoming obsolete.
Do you know if there is a difference in quality in terms of converting the .mov (qtvr) file to flash format versus playing the .mov (qtvr) file in the Flash Panorama Player?
Thanks,
Shareena

flash 10 is just starting to catch up to qtvr in terms of high-end pano quality, there is a page comparing the various panorama players available here - http://www.panoramaphotographer.com/comparisons/
