Autodesk Toxik: “pixel format capabilities less than requested”

What does this mean? It pops up when I try to start the program. Any idea what this means/How to fix it?
I’ve been looking on the Autodesk website and I’m not finding any true support.

Please help.

Hey,

I do not have an answer for you, sorry, but if you could provide some more info that may help. What OS are you running, I am guessing you are using the trial version? Even a print screen of the error and when exactly it happens could also help. Are you loading some footage? Or is this when the project screen is open?

Cheers

Hey Mark,

Same problem here. The error message appears when I run the software (Toxic 2010 Trial).
I`m running under:

Notebook Toshiba Satellite E105
Intel Core2Duo P7350
4GB RAM
Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family (1280x800)
Windows Vista Home Premium

I know it`s not a grate configuration, but I run Nuke and AfterEffects without any problem.

Here is a screenshot.

Cheers

Hey there was no screen shot sorry.

I was trying to remember anything that comes to mind and the fact that you are running it at 1280x800 could be the issue. It is just telling you that you are not running at the correct/optimum resolution, I have the worst memory, but I think you want to run TOXIK at 1920x1080 or higher. There is a min resolution. I just can’t remember what it is, if I find out, I will add it here.

Cheers
