Out of curiosity, are there any plans for deeper engine integration of Scaleform into unity so we can have in-game elements like those found in UDK and other games? Sorry if this was asked before, but i didn’t see it when i looked.

As far as I know, we are not planning to alter how the plugin works; however, the good news is that the team has just completed the first pass at adding render to texture and set external texture support. These two new features will allow for displaying Scaleform content on a texture in your Unity level, or displaying a Unity texture inside your Scaleform UI respectively. These features should be available in the next update/patch.

Thanks for the info, the render to texture is going to be a real asset for us, we are already planing on ways to integrate that into our current project. Is there an ETA on the next update/patch or is it TBA?

I can’t give you an ETA, but it will be soon.
