Command Quick Help
Did you know that if you RMB on a highlighted command in the script editor you can get the list of command flags?

The nice thing about this when writing a script is that one often tries a command numerous times with different flags, particularly UI widgets. Instead of using the MEL help command and always scrolling through the history section of the script editor, you can keep the flags easily visible.
This works for python as well as MEL because the commands use the same flags in each language.

This is nice but Maya is at version 9 (2008) and it's really time to have a descent script editor with auto completion, syntax highlight and a quicker reference dictionary that would run in the same window. I use Maya on mac OSX and I don't have mel studio pro and all other script editors out there are just some workarounds that doesn't really help speed up my workflow.
