Back from Vacation
Hello everyone. I returned from vacation last week and I am starting to dig back in. Thanks to my usual email avoidance tactics I only had about 450 email to deal with. It could have been much worse.
I must say it was an odd holiday season in the Great White North. Not least of which was that it wasn't white at all. Our grass was actually green and growing. One of our big worries was whether we should pull out the lawn mower one last time. This has happened about 3 times in the last century apparently(normally there is about 2 to 3 feet of accumulated snow at this point in my home town). So wile the west coast was being hammered my Christmas was green and perfect for hiking in a light jacket.
As I write this though our first taste of winter has struck. it is raining ice pellets and my car is encased in about 1/8th inch of ice. Ah winter, I really didn't miss you.
