It looks like the iphone may finally be at a place where I would buy it. (that is if Canadian cell phone companies would actually carry it of course.) With the introduction of its SDK a number of useful business apps and most importantly cool games are finally on the horizon.
Here is a video that shows EA's upcoming Spore video game running on the iphone taking full advantage of the accelerometers and touch capabilities.

Here is another video of super monkey ball running on the iphone. Note that they mention that they underestimated the horse power of the phone and had to up-res their assets and as a result are now running a full console game on the iphone

I'm not a big mac fanatic or anything but I do respect good design and this presentation shows that this phone could truly become a strong competitor in the mobile games market thanks to its unique interface capabilities.
