Learning to drive in 3ds Max

A close friend of mine, Paul Neale, just recently released a set of rigs for sale on his site. These rigs allow you to easily animate vehicles inside of 3ds Max. Now when I say animate I don't mean path follow. This system deals with dynamics, wheel spin, ground detection, steering and much more. You can find info on these rigs here...
What I have always liked about Pauls rigs is they come from many years of production rigging experience. This means that he never puts in automatic features with no way to override them. Most top animators will tell you that automation is great until it does something you didn't want (Which is far more often then most riggers realize). Check out Pauls site while you are at it as its full of useful info.

If you are more of a do it your selfer then I recommend you check out pauls Training DVD's at CG Academy. I'm also hoping he'll have enough free time in future to post some rigging tips and tricks here on AREA.

Hey thanks for posting this Shawn. I have been working hard on the whole system with my current clients to perfect the tools and create more that are needed. Any one that purchases the product will recieve updates for a year free of charge.
