Damn, didn’t realise that the wire parameters were so symple to use (in this case anyway), I didn’t think that it would be as simple as right clicking it and going through the wire parameter menu, I assumed that as the twist manipulator couldn’t be selected that it would be a difficult task. Pretty much I was right to doubt my intellegance but wrong to doubt 3DS Max’s design, hats off to Autodesk.

Thanks a lot for everyones help, sadly, I’m pretty sure that this won’t be my final dumb question, so I’ll see you all some other time.
