3DS Max License issue

May be slightly off with this, but I’ve a feeling there’s a difference (time wise) between moving a license with the PLU and “borrowing” a license. The “Borrow” does have a 24 hour grace period, but the “move” is 14 days (or something like that). I’ve never “borrowed” a license but I have moved them. Someone (I’m sure rasberry) will correct me if I’m wrong (always a possibility).

You’re exactly right.  The PLU is for the standalone license, and each time you move the license it’s permanent (until the next time you move it).

“Borrowing” is an option for the network license that lets you “check out” one seat of a network license like a library book, when you need to run while disconnected from the network, such as doing a demo at a client.
