Hi Snake. Good question. The render for this was a bit trick, cause i am using a REAL set as backdrop, and i want to use FinalGathering on this, but with such colorfull background is obvious that i need that colors bouncing on the little turtles…
So...My solution was to model a very low poly model of the set and use camera map on it, with a high “BLEED” and output value. This way, the background and the floor bouce lights and project its colors on the turtles. But on the render the floor looks VERY bright and with clamped colours. So, i did another render pass, just to get the alpha channel of the 3D Part (Turtles, etc). So, i could compose the 3D separated onver the original image again. smile
Another occlusion pass was made to “glue” the turtles more on the floor. smile

So, using this projection method i’ve archieved FG bounce of a real background on a 3D model, integrating it more. Unfortunatelly i didn’t HDR of the set, but it works anyway. smile

I like the new Area ! smile Thanks for the replies. This job is not too new, but i’ve never posted it. I will try to fing some frame with more resolution than SD Video. :(

This was the first time i’ve acted as director too, on an entire Cg commercial.
