Interview with Louis
Who you are (occupation):
Solution Specialist - 3D animation and Visual Effects - Autodesk Canada
What do you do?
I offer advanced training, software demonstrations and pipeline evaluation/implementation for Autodesk products (3D, compositing, film, games, broadcast and design
visualization)
How long have you been using Max?
Since 3D Studio Dos, Release 4.
What is your main interest in 3D (animation, rendering, modeling, etc)?
Mostly, technical challenges and how to connect the dots to find solutions to problems or challenges. I like coaching people to help them realize their full potential in 3D
and VFX. I like to find new ways of doing things and propose new methods to save time in a production. For animation and modeling, I am fascinated by amusement rides that can
move from town to town in vans. They offer great rigging challenges and full modeling creativity.
What do you do in your free time?
I love reading all sorts of books: technical, novels, essays. I love to cook and explore various types of cuisines. Movies are a great part of my life too.
