David Lightbown

David Lightbown has been working professionally in computer graphics for over 14 years. He has spent the last 10 years focusing on art pipeline efficiency and the usability of content creation tools.

David has presented at the Game Developers Conference and the Montreal Game Summit on multiple occasions, and delivered an Autodesk Masterclass at Siggraph. In collaboration with Autodesk, he authored several Maya training DVDs and podcasts, as well as the official post-secondary Maya manual.

In 2010, he won the “Autodesk Maya Master” award, which recognizes the Maya user who has made the most significant contribution to the community.

David lives in Montreal with his wife and son and currently holds the position of “Senior Artistic Technical Director” at Behaviour Interactive.
