Kevin Mannens

A Belgian native, Kevin originally pursued an academic career at the University of Leuven, where he received a degree in philosophy. Due to a mind-boggling sequence of fortunate events, he regained consciousness and worked three years at the Alias|Wavefront (AW) European Support Center as an application engineer. He hasn't looked back since and swears by his lifestyle as a lyrical vagabond, alternating between TD and SCUBA instructor, most recently in China, Malaysia, Philippines, New Zealand, Taiwan and Thailand. He is currently effects technical director at Sony Pictures Imageworks in Los Angeles. His feature film credits include: 10.000BC, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, G-Force, Alice In Wonderland and The Smurfs. Kevin is also author of "Professional MEL solutions for production" and is founding partner at TD-College.com and Fracture-FX.com
