Sylvain Côté is an Artistic Technical Director with Montreal-based video game developer Behaviour Interactive. For the past nine years, Sylvain has developed production tools for the company's artists and he also supports the production team with highly efficient pipelines in the form of rigs, user interfaces, and various scripts within Maya. He worked on multiple projects like Rango, Monkey Quest, Wet, Naughty Bear, Kung Fu Panda, Iron Man, Scooby Doo, Scaler and much more. He has been involved in the community by contributing to the Autodesk Maya Masterclass Online, participated at the Autodesk Developer Conference and Autodesk University as a speaker.

Prior to joining Behaviour, Sylvain created garments for My Virtual Model using Maya Cloth. His interest in the technical side landed him a position with the R&D team as a technical animator. In that position, Sylvain designed and created the production pipeline for making virtual garments using Maya software's embedded language (MEL) and it's Application Programming Interface (API). He also worked in the broadcast industry creating 3D spots using Softimage 3D and Power Animator after he completed his training as a 3D Animator in 1995. On his own time, Sylvain has also worked on a collection of proprietary plug-ins for Maya.
